SPAD : Spatialized Additive Synthesizer for Environmental Sounds

This synthesizer simulates five environmental “instruments” : rain, fire, waves, wind and footsteps. It allows real-time control of their physics (e.g., rain intensity, wave size, etc…) and spatial properties (3D position and spatial extension).

Warning: SPAD has been created in a research context for non commercial use. It is distributed on a "AS IS" basis WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied. As the programs were written for research purposes only, they have not been tested to the degree that would be advisable in any important application. All use of these programs is entirely at the user's own risk. In SPAD scenes, getting closer to instruments produces louder sounds. Please be careful not to expose your ears to loud sounds. This is especially CRITICAL if using headphones.
